Dispatches of chrome ore and chrome concentrates by Odisha miners decreased by almost 8% in Aug’16 against Jul’16.
In Aug’16, Tata Steel dispatched 91,560 MT of chrome ore, which has fairly similar in terms of quantitiy, to its previous month’s dispatches, having decreased by a mere 1.2% M-o-M. Out of the total dispatches by Tata Steel in Aug’16, only 9,483 MT was for captive consumption.
In Aug’16, OMC dispatched 57,110 MT of chrome ore, which decreased by 27% M-o-M.
