World’s iron ore and pellet export shipments were recorded at 132.7 mn t in Mar ’21, an increase by 23% m-o-m as compared to 108.16 mn t in Feb ’21, according to the data maintained with SteelMint. Australia remained the top exporter with 73.7 mn t, followed by Brazil with 28 mn t and India with 7.3 mn t. Robust steel market sentiments in China and bullish outlook resulted in increased exports.
