“Raipur Wire Rod prices have fallen badly due to its
sluggish demand. The rise in prices of raw materials and weak demand in
finished steel has accounted for the above.
The market situation of Wire rod is anticipated to show
changes only after the end of financial year.
Wire Rod 5.5 trading prices in Raipur has shown a downtrend
by Rs. 350/MT at Rs. 38,150/MT,” said a trader from Raipur.
20 Guage Binding Wire in Raipur is offered at Rs. 43,650/MT
(Basic price) with a fall of Rs. 450/MT and 12 Guage HB Wire trades at Rs. 39,600/MT,
down by Rs. 500/MT.
