Raipur, Chhattisgarh-based steel wire rod manufacturers witnessed lack of trade enquiries and transactions over the last couple of days and therefore had to reduce prices by INR 1,000/t to INR 51,500/t on 9 Feb’21. Besides, weak sentiments in the semi-finished steel market resulted in trading activity remaining dull, which pressured suppliers to extend discounts to around INR 1,300/t.
