Raipur-based steel wire rod suppliers observed weak buying enquiries and trades in the spot market. The decline in semi-finished steel prices halted trading activities today. Most of the manufacturers quoted offers at INR 61,000/t exw, but there is no buying interest at prevailing offers and sellers are waiting for counter bids from buyers. On the other hand, resellers are offering trade discounts over INR 1,500/t.
