Wire Prices at Durgapur Decline, but at Raipur, remains the same

Wire prices at Durgapur have come down by Rs 300/MT from last trade. 5.5mm Wire Rod is traded at Rs 37,300/MT and 12Gauge HB Wire is at Rs 39,700/MT.

“Day before yesterday prices had been increased by Rs 100/MT as Billet prices hiked by Rs 100-200/MT at Durgapur. But due to low buying interest manufacturers had to reduce their prices”, said a wires trader based at Durgapur.

On the other hand Raipur Wire manufacturers have made up their mind not to reduce wire prices with this downward trend. They have been keeping prices same from last one week. 5.5mm Wire Rod is traded at Rs 38,500/MT and 12Gauge HB Wire is at Rs 40,500/MT.
