Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has decreased its rebar offer by INR 500/t. The current offer for 12 mm rebar stands at INR 47,300/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST). Reduction in rebar prices by other competitive brands due to limited demand and corrections in semi-finished (ingot/billet) steel prices have resulted in drop in the offer, sources told SteelMint. Mono Steel has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
