Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has decreased their rebar offer today by INR 1,000/t . Current offer for 12 mm rebar stands at INR 50,800/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST). Limited demand for rebar steel due to higher price and corrections in semi-finished steel (ingot/billet) prices have resulted in a sharp decline in offer, sources told SteelMint. Mono Steel has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
