Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) today hiked its rebar offer by INR 1,000/t. The current offering price for 12 mm rebar stands at INR 46,150/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST) on next day payment terms. Active demand from infrastructure projects, increasing raw material cost, and price increase in other competitive markets resulted in an increase in offer, sources told SteelMint. Mono Steel has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
