Western India: Melting scrap prices up by INR 100-200/t

Domestic melting scrap prices in most of the major markets of western region increased marginally by INR 100-200/t d-o-d owing to rising finished steel prices. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 24,600/t Jalna, INR 23,300/t Chennai (DAP). Near term prices are expected to remain range bound, sources shared with SteelMint.
