Domestic melting scrap prices in major markets of western regions increased marginally by INR 100-200/t d-o-d, while in some locations, prices were stable. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 24,800/t Jalna, INR 24,300/t Chennai (DAP). As per the sources, trade activities remained moderate which resulted in stability in scrap prices.
