Domestic melting scrap prices in western India (Jalna) remained unchanged on d-o-d basis after consecutive hikes from past week. Current trade reference price of HMS (80:20) stands at INR 20,700/t FoR. Prices in near term are likely to increase further owing to demand-supply mismatch, sources anticipated.
