Jalna (Maharashtra) based prominent rebar mills have decreased their rebar prices by up to INR 1,000/t. Current rebar (10-25 mm) offer stands at INR 47,000/t exw. As per market participants, prices dropped owing to declining raw material prices and limited future booking orders. Notably, Jalna is a major rebar manufacturing hub in western India with per day rebar production capacity around 10,000 t by overall mills.
