West Bengal Sponge Iron Manufacturers Association has conveyed their request to govt. of Orissa to instruct JSW Steel for the supply of iron ore purchased through e-auction held in Feb’21, according to a letter copy received to SteelMint. The letter says that JSW authorities claim govt has restricted them to supply iron ore from their Nuagaon Iron-Ore Mines. The buyer industries had given their consent to load the material by Rail in lieu of road dispatches, due to govt embargo if any. Notably, JSW has raised lump offers recently by INR 600-900/t tracking hike in offers by other miners.
