Week-11; Indian Structure Market Experience Volatility

Indian small scale manufacturers have reported mixed sentiments in the market this week; structure prices have increased by INR 1,200/MT W-o-W.

Prices remained stable in west and south India, while the North region (Ghaziabad) have registered downward movement.

However, Structure offers have witnessed positive sentiments in Mumbai and Durgapur market therefore prices have increased by INR 900/MT and INR 250/MT respectively.

Heavy Structure in Central India plunged by INR 200/MT; trade discount heard at INR 500-700/MT, besides light structure have increased by INR 1,200/MT at the same time.

In a week, billet prices have increased by INR 1,000-1,500/MT and presently hovering with in INR 24,900-29,000/MT; lowest in Jharsugda and highest in Mandi Gobindgarh.

Structure angle makers are offering 100×100 mm material in Durgapur at INR 31,250/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,500/MT, Raipur at INR 29,300/MT and Hyderabad at INR 31,000/MT.

Currently, 200×75 mm channel is being offered in Durgapur at INR 30,250/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 33,900/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,700/MT, Mumbai at INR 32,500/MT and in Raipur at INR 29,300/MT.

Heavy 200×100 mm beam are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 30,250/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 33,400/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 30,500/MT, Mumbai at INR 33,100/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,800/MT.
