Ingot prices remained range bound over last few weeks and experts do not see any major bounce back in prices in the short term. Steel prices are dull despite of raw material crisis and rising scrap and coal prices.
“Ingot prices will be range bound and we do not expect any major jump in the prices.Traders and stockist are not keen to stock goods at current level due to tight liquidity position”, said a steel manufacturer based in Nagpur (Maharastra).
