Vizag Steel Plant offers discount of Rs 700/MT for bulk purchases on weak demand and falling steel prices in India last week.
They want to clear off their inventories as market is anticipated to go down further.
“There has been selling pressure in the market. RINL has floated a tender of 30,000 tonnes Steel Grade Pig Iron for exports this month end, which is likely to get weak response as international prices are quite low.” said a large Pig Iron trader based in Delhi.
