Vizag Steel has floated a tender for export of various steel products including Billet, Blooms, Rounds, and Structures. The company is offering a total quantity of 48,000 MT material in its export tender.
The company, in the tender issued, has offered around 20,000 MT bloom (150*150 mm) and 10,000 MT billets with scheduled delivery of material to 31 Oct’16 on FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on the direct export basis. The last date for bid submission is 19 Sept’16 and the validity of the offer is till 26 Sept’16.

Indian Billet Export Prices at USD 330-335/MT, FOB
Indian billet (150 X 150 mm) export prices are assessed at USD 330-335/MT FOB India Main Port.
The last tender by RINL (closed on 12 Aug’16) was concluded at around USD 325/MT FOB India and cargo was sold to Thailand. However, some manufacturers are heard to be offering same size billet at USD 335-340/MT FOB India but no deals were heard concluded.
Chinese billet export offers continue to remain high and prices are assessed at USD 345-350/MT FOB China. South East Asia and Bangladesh based buyers prefer Indian billet owing to less voyage time and competitive price.
