Vizag Steel, a leading state owned Pig iron producer and exporter, has issued an export tender of 20,000 MT steel grade Pig iron with scheduled technical bids on 14 Dec’16.
It is been a year, the company has issued an export tender for Pig iron. Meanwhile, the company was engaged in fulfilling its domestic requirement since last year.

Quantity: 20,000 MT
Loading port: Vishakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port, India
Shipment schedule: Till 25 Jan’17
Another Indian Pig iron export tender by one of the largest trading house-MMTC recently got concluded around USD 280/MT, FoB East Coast. According to sources, the tender attracted two participants.
It is noted that, the company has released 3rd tender back-to-back for exports looking towards the rising demand in Pig iron exports. Another global tender by MMTC which is on pipeline is for 30,000 MT basic grade Pig iron which is scheduled on 15 Dec’16.
