Vizag Steel has intended to procure 100,000 MT iron ore (50,000 MT lump and 50,000 MT fines) for its Vishakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) through single source only. The steelmaker has planned to source the raw material from imported or indigenous sources.
Tenderer must be an established iron ore mining agencies/producer(s), managing and controlling iron ore mines and producing iron ore fines and lump.

Bidder should submit their bids in USD or Euro per MT in case of imported suppliers and INR/MT in case of indigenous sources. In case of imported supplier bidder should quote their bids on FoB as well as CFR basis. However, in case of indigenous sources bids should be given on FoR VSP siding, Vishakhapatanam.
Delivered quantity by sea from imported and indigenous sources should be 50,000 MT +/-5% per month. Whereas, delivery should be 12 rakes (each rake carrying 4,000 MT) in 1 lot/month from indigenous source.
Interested bidders should submit their quotations till 8 Jan’16.
