Vizag Steel has floated an another tender for export of blooms. This is the second tender the company has floated for export of 30,000 MT blooms.
The company, in the tender issued, has offered around 30,000 MT bloom (200*200 mm) with scheduled delivery of material to 30 Nov’16 on FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on the direct export basis. The last date for bid submission is 21 Oct’16 and the validity of the offer is till 31 Oct’16.
There is already an active export tender for billet/ bloom. A tender comprising of 20,000 MT Bloom (150 X 150 mm) and 10,000 MT billet ( 90X 90 mm) is expiring on 18 Oct’16.
Last tender for 20,000 MT bloom (150 X 150 mm) and 10,000 MT (90 X 90 mm), which got expired on 18 Sept’16, received good participation. The lot of 20,000 MT bloom (150 X150 mm) attracted 6 participants. The highest bid received was at USD 335/MT, FOB Vizag Port and the tender has been concluded at the same price bid. The cargo was ship to Bangladesh.
Another lot for 10,000 MT billet (90 X 90 mm) received the highest bid at USD 332.75/MT, FOB Vizag Port, and the company has concluded the tender at the same price bid. The cargo was ship to Sri Lanka.
