On 28 Oct’16, Vizag Steel has floated an export tender for 20,000 MT blooms of size 200 X 200 mm with scheduled technical bids to open on 05 Nov’16 for December shipment.
According to recent document released by the company, the steel maker has extended the due date for respective tender till 15 Nov’16. As per market participants, the company could not able to manage higher participation. Hence, rescheduled the tender till 15 Nov’16.
It is to be noted that there are already two more export tenders in pipeline. First export tender for steel exports to Nepal includes 11,000 MT billets (65 X 65 mm, 75 X 75 mm and 90 X 90 mm) & 5,500 MT blooms (150 X 150 mm) with scheduled technical bids to open on 10 Nov’16.
Another export tender for 10,000 MT billets (150 X 150 mm) and 25,000 MT blooms open for all destinations for December shipment is going to expire on 10 Nov’16.
