Vizag steel had floated an export tender for 20,000 MT bloom (150*150 mm) and 10,000 MT billet (90*90 mm), which expired on 19th Jan’17 for February and March loading respectively.
According to sources, the company has manged to attract 2 participants. The highest bid received was at USD 405/MT, FoB Vizag Port and company has concluded the tender.
Another lot of 150*150 mm bloom also received bids from 2 participants and bids were around 396-398/MT FOB Vizag Port. However, the company is still under negotiation and hopefully it may take decision by 28th Jan’17.
Last tender by Vizag Steel for 25,000 MT blooms (150 *150 mm) and 10,000 MT billets (90*90 mm), which expired on 15 Nov’16 for December shipment concluded at USD 383/MT, FOB Vizag Port.
