Vizag Steel has concluded the export tender for 20,000 MT Billet (150*150mm) which closed on 18 Oct’16 for December shipment.
According to sources, the tender attracted 4 participants . The highest bid received was at USD 335/MT, FOB Vizag Port and the tender has been concluded at the same price bid. The cargo is likely to be shipped to Bangladesh.
The highest bid (H1) received was at USD 335/MT, FoB, followed by USD 325/MT, USD 315/MT and USD 310/MT FOB Vizag Port.
Alongside, the other lot of 10,000 MT billet (90X90 mm) attracted single bid at USD 312.75/MT, FOB Vizag Port. However, the company has not awarded this tender as they received better price for Nepal market.
The previous tender concluded by Vizag Steel for 20,000MT billet (150*150mm) was settled at USD 335/MT, FoB India east coast and 90*90 mm at 332.75/MT FOB India.
