Vietnamese integrated steel manufacturer Hoa Phat has lowered its monthly HRC (SAE1006, non-skinpassed) prices by $20/t for Oct’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. The drop in prices is due to lower sales, slow recovery in the domestic market post-COVID along with sluggish demand and fall in imported HRC offers. Post revision, the effective price stands at $595/t or VND 14,000,000/t, excluding VAT.
