Vietnam’s coal imports increased by 2% m-o-m to 4.53 mnt in Apr’24 as against 4.46 mnt in Mar. Indonesia was the largest exporter at 1.96 mnt, up 11%. Australia’s coal exports to Vietnam dropped by 12% at 1.18 mnt as against 1.34 in Mar’24. while South Africa shipped 0.66 mnt. Moreover, imports from Canada increased significantly to 0.13 mnt in the month under review.
