Vietnam’s coal imports drop by 13% m-o-m to 3.41 mnt in Feb’24 as against 3.94 mnt in Jan’24. Imports surged 25% y-o-y as compared to 2.72 mnt in Jan’23. Australia (up by 5%) was the largest exporter at 1.55 mnt, followed by Indonesia at 0.70 mnt (down 45% m-o-m) and Japan at 0.10 mnt. Moreover, Imports from South Africa drop by 82% to 0.08 mnt in the month under review.
