Vietnam crude steel production increased by 11.3% m-o-m to 2.34 mn t in Aug’20, according to the latest data released by Vietnam Steel Association (VSA). Steel sales reached 2.07 mn t (including 462,138 t exports) in the same month up 5.8% against Jul’20. During Jan-Aug’20, steel output recorded at 16 mn t and sales were at 14.4 mn t, down 5% and 7% respectively.
