Vietnam’s domestic integrated steel mill- Formosa Ha Tinh likely to announce a sharp hike in its monthly HRC offers for Jun ’21 deliveries. Revised offer for HRC (skin pass, SAE 1006) is expected to be around $890/t CIF basis, SteelMint learned from Vietnam sources. The company is closely analyzing the changing market dynamics & global price surge and will accordingly announce the revised offer. Last month the company raised HRC offers by $45/t at $765-770/t CIF basis for May delivery.
