After witnessing decline in offers last week, imported HRC offers to Vietnam remained stable this week owing to weak demand prevailing in Vietnam.End users are reluctant to make any purchases as they are preferring domestic offers as compared to imported HRC.
In the beginning of last week, offers for Chinese mills were at USD 600-625/MT, CFR Vietnam which declined to USD 600-610/MT, CFR by the mid of the week.
Current HRC offers to Vietnam
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Benxi Iron & Steel mill at USD 610/MT, CFR Vietnam.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Rizhao Steel at USD 603 /MT CFR Vietnam.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3 mm/Russian offer-MMK Steel at USD 595/MT CFR Vietnam.
4.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3 mm/Indian offers- at USD 605-610/MT CFR Vietnam.
5.Last week Vietnam’s domestic producer Formosa released their HRC offers for July shipments at USD 615/MT CFR basis.
