Market sources recently shared that Imported HRC offers moved up by USD 5-10/MT amid slight increase in HRC export offers from China.However in the beginning of the week imported HRC offers to Vietnam remain stable against last week.
A trader based in Vietnam quoted,” Improved buying activities by end users led to slight increase in HRC offers in Vietnam”.
Yesterday, China’s major mill – Baosteel raised domestic HRC prices for July shipments by Yuan 100/MT (USD 16/MT) after keeping it unchanged in last two months.The effective rates for HRC (SS400 5.5mm) are heard to be at RMB 5,478/MT (USD 855/MT).
Current HRC trade offers to Vietnam
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Benxi Iron & Steel mill at USD 625/MT,CFR Vietnam.In the beginning of week the offer was at USD 615-617/MT CFR basis.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Rizhao Steel at USD 620/MT CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers were at USD 613-615/MT CFR basis.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm /Japanese offer at USD 650/MT CFR Vietnam.
4.Indian major mill is offering HRC to Vietnam at USD 620/MT CFR Vietnam.
5.Earlier this week, Vietnam importer booked 25,000 MT HRC from India at USD 615/MT, CFR for July shipment
6.Formosa Ha Tinh Corporation is planning to announce its HRC offers for August shipments which is expected by the end of this week or in beginning of next week.
