Vietnamese steel major Hoa Phat’s steel sales (including construction steel, HRC and billets) stood at 628,000 t, up by 19.3% m-o-m in Aug’22. Sales volume increased amid improved demand for construction steel and HRCs in the country. In Aug’22, crude steel output was stable m-o-m at 600,000 t. In Jan-Aug’22, sales were recorded at 5.14 mnt while crude steel output stood at around 5.5 mnt.
