Hoa Phat, Vietnam’s largest steelmaker, produced 738,000 t of steel in Apr’24, a slight decrease against 741,000 t a month ago. Whereas, sales of steel billets, construction steel and HRC products rose by 16% m-o-m to 805,000 t in Apr’24 as compared to 693,000 t in Mar’24. In four months, Hoa Phat exported 952,000 t of steel, diversifying sales and offsetting slow domestic market.
