Vietnam’s second largest domestic steel mill, Hoa Phat has announced sharp hike in list price of HRC by $135/t for Jun delivery. The revised offers for HRC (SAE 1006) stand at around $895-900/t CIF basis, SteelMint learned from Vietnam-based sources. The last offer was in the range of $760-765/t CIF basis for May delivery. Higher international prices, price hike by Formosa and healthy downstream demand in domestic market propelled mill to raise prices.
