Vietnam: Hoa Phat registers increase in construction steel sales in Jul ’20

Vietnam’s steelmaker Hoa Phat Group has recorded 300,000 t construction steel sales in Jul ’20, an increase of 27.5% y-o-y and 19% m-o-m. It exported 53,500 t steel products, nearly doubled against Jul ’19. It also produced 169,000 t billets in Jul. The company’s construction steel output during Jan-Jul ’20 totaled 1.81 mn t, up 14.5% against Jan-Jul ’19.
