Vietnam: Hoa Phat posts 22% increase in steel sales in Sep’21

Vietnam’s leading steelmaker Hoa Phat Group recorded steel sales at 738,000 t in Sep’21, an increase of 22% on the year, of which construction steel sales were recorded at 327,000 t. Sales of HRCs were at 176,000 t, while the remaining sales comprised billets, galvanised steel and steel pipes. Hoa Phat’s crude steel production stood at 686,000 t in Sep’21 – higher by 20%, y-o-y.
