Vietnamese integrated steel manufacturer, Hoa Phat, has lowered its monthly HRC (SAE1006, non-skinpassed) prices by $57/t for Jan and early-Feb’23 sales, sources informed SteelMint. The drop in prices is due to lower exports, slow construction activity in the domestic market and weakening imported HRC offers in the recent past. Post-revision, the effective prices stand at $542/t or VND 14,150,000/t, excluding VAT.
