Vietnam’s leading steel producer, Hoa Phat, has reportedly announced a reduction in monthly HRC (SAE 1006) prices, sources informed SteelMint. This is the fifth consecutive monthly price cut by the mill since Jul’21.
The effective price post-revision stands at $892/t CIF Ho Chi Minh (HCM), for Dec’21 deliveries. Earlier, the steel producer was offering HRC at $900/t for Nov delivery.
