Vietnam’s second largest domestic steel mill, Hoa Phat has sharply raised its HRC (SAE1006/SS400) offers by $30-35/t CIF today. The mill is offering in range of $685-690/t CIF Vietnam for Apr-early May shipments. Last month the offers stood at $650-660/t CIF basis. Hoa Phat Group has reported that its HRC output touched 1 mn t from its Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel after more than 9 months of commissioning and eyeing to achieve 2.7 mn t HRC output in CY ’21.
