Vietnam’s Hoa Phat has announced a hike in HRC prices by around $80-85/t for May and early-Jun’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Post revision, the price for HRC skinpass stands at $910/t on CIF basis. Hike in imported HRC offers, preference for domestic material on shorter lead times and raw material cost push have fuelled the price hike.
