Vietnam’s leading steel producer, Hoa Phat, has released data for H1 CY’21. The steelmaker has sold about 4.3 mn t of steel during the period thereby registering an increase of 60% in sales against the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
Other highlights-
- Construction steel sales were recorded at 1.8 mn t, while those for billets stood at 0.608 mn t.
- Crude steel production was around 4 mn t in H1, up by 55% against CPLY.
- Galvanised steel output marked the strongest growth to 0.16 mn t contrasted with 0.057 mn t in CPLY.
