Vietnam: Formosa increases HRC prices by $80/t m-o-m for May sales

Vietnamese steel major Formosa Ha Tinh increased hot rolled coil (HRC) prices for domestic sales by $80/tonne (t) for May, SteelMint learned from reliable sources. After the revision, offers for SAE1006 (skin-passes) stand at around $930/t CIF Ho Chi Minh. The rise in imported HRC prices amidst trade tensions and the hike in raw material prices collectively boosted domestic offers in Vietnam.
