Vietnam ferrous scrap imports from US increase significantly in July

Vietnam ferrous scrap imports witnessed an m-o-m rise of 13% in Jul ’20 and stood at 480,543 t in Jul ’20 as per SteelMint statistics. Imports from US increased sharply by 83% to 91,523 t as mills shifted preference in booking more bulk US cargoes owing to high Japanese scrap offers over tight availability.
