Vietnam: Domestic scrap purchase prices rise by $17/t

Scrap prices in Vietnam have risen further by VND 400/kg ($17/t) compared to the end of last week, sources informed SteelMint. The new purchase price for H1 scrap has been set at VND 10,400/kg ($450) and VND 10,100/kg ($440) for H2 grade scrap. Traders confirmed that mills have limited stocks and need to raise procurement prices for restocking.
