Vietnam: Domestic scrap purchase price moves down by VND 200/t ($9)

Domestic scrap prices in Vietnam have moved down by VND 200/kg levels today, reliable sources informed SteelMint. The new purchase price has now been set at VND 11,600/kg ($504) for H1 and VND 11,300/kg ($491) for H2 grade scrap. Japanese scrap prices have turned bearish, even if slightly, after Chinese and South Korean mills lowered bids, SteelMint notes.
