Vietnam: Domestic scrap prices remain unchanged

Domestic ferrous scrap prices in Vietnam remained stable, w-o-w, as per SteelMint assessment.
The procurement price for H1 grade scrap stands at VND 12,200/kg ($530/t), while VND 11,900/kg ($517/t) is the price for H2 scrap.
The lifting of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in the country from 1 Oct has resulted in improved buying enquiries from buyers, although the market is awaiting the resultant positive effect on scrap prices.
