Vietnam: Bulk coal imports rise around 60% m-o-m in Mar’25

Vietnam’s bulk coal imports (coking, non-coking, and met coke) reached 5.4 mnt in Mar’25, a 59% increase from 3.4 mnt in Feb, and a 22% rise from 4.5 mnt in Mar’24. Indonesia was the leading supplier, exporting 2.42 mnt, up 34% m-o-m, followed by Australia at 2 mnt, an increase of 76% m-o-m.
