Vietnam: Bulk coal, coke imports rise 6% m-o-m in May’25

Vietnam’s bulk coal and coke imports (coking, non-coking, and met coke) reached 5 million tonnes (mnt) in May’25, marking a 5.9% m-o-m rise from 4.7 mnt in April, but a 13.3% drop from 5.7 mnt in May’24. Indonesia remained the leading supplier, exporting 2.5 mnt, up 18.3% m-o-m, followed by Australia at 2 mnt, up 7.4% m-o-m.
