Vietnam: Bulk coal, coke imports edge down m-o-m in Oct’25

Vietnam’s total bulk imports of coal and coke (including coking, non-coking, and metallurgical coke) stood at 3.69 mnt in Oct’25, down 1.8% m-o-m from 3.76 mnt in Sep’25. However, on a y-o-y basis, imports recorded a significant increase of 15.5% from 3.2 mnt in Oct’24. Indonesia emerged as the leading supplier, with exports rising 58% m-o-m to 2.27 mnt, while Australia followed with 1.32 mnt, marking a 26.8% m-o-m decline.
