Vietnam: Bulk coal, coke imports drop by nearly 30% m-o-m in Nov’25

Vietnam’s total bulk imports of coal and coke (including coking, non-coking, and metallurgical coke) stood at 2.62 mnt in Nov’25, down 28.9% m-o-m from 3.69 mnt in Oct’25. On a y-o-y basis, imports recorded a steep fall of 33.8% from 4 mnt in Nov’24. Australia emerged as the leading supplier, with exports rising by 1.5% m-o-m to 1.34 mnt, while Indonesia followed with 1.05 mnt, marking a 53.7% m-o-m decline.
